Job Summary
The UI/UX Designer will be a part of team who delivers services for our clients and our in-house products. This candidate will have a strong foundation of design and UI/UX principles to in order to produce the highest standard of work. Working in a fast-paced, high energy environment, the ideal candidate will likely work on various projects for a wide array of clients. This role requires considerable collaboration and a team focused mindset. Always new and exciting, our projects keep our designers and developers eager to learn of their next assignment.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Design quality, engaging responsive and interactive web and mobile solutions
- Create and design storyboards, interactive page layouts, site grids, wireframes, interface and demos
- Awareness and understanding of emerging technologies and design trends
- Communicate effectively with clients on all design concepts, ideas, and plans
- Defend design choices using previous user research, heuristics and usability standards
- Develop and maintain visual design standards and best practices
- Provide clear communication to other project members on the implementation of the design vision and features
- Participate and provide input in brainstorming and idea-sharing meetings
- Collaborate closely with product managers, development and statisticians to take projects from business requirements to general availability
- Communicate the intended user experience through artifacts such as concept maps and models, mockups, prototype, storyboards, wireframes, workflow and design specification.
- Work closely with developers to ensure intended experiences are carried through
Required Experience and Knowledge
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in graphic design, visual communication, or related field
- 2-5 years of web/mobile design experience
- Responsive web design experience required
- Mobile apps design experience
- Knowledge on difference between Android and iOS design and user experience guidelines
- Advanced knowledge in emerging design & UX/UI trends
- knowledge in the Adobe Creative Suite primarily in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
- Ability to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment
